FREE PIZZA LUNCH TOMORROW

Great News… no need to pack a lunch tomorrow!

Joshua and his family have offered to purchase a pizza party for the entire class!  We will be ordering plain cheese and pepperoni pizzas.

Again, a BIG shout out to Joshua (and Jill) for this lovely gesture.

WEDNESDAY and THURSDAY

Tomorrow is our last full day of school. We will celebrate with board games, device time and a movie.  Thursday we have another school assembly, report cards and then early dismissal.  Students will be dismissed at 11:50am.  Buses will be ready for pick up at this time as well.

A MESSAGE  FROM MS.BURROWS

It truly has been a wonderful year in grade 3.  In my 18 years of experience, this was my first year with a class of 14 boys and only 5 girls.  We did a lot of math and we certainly did a lot of writing.  What a difference it makes when students are given the tools to inquire, investigate and problem solve on their own.  It creates memorable, engaged, authentic learning.  

To each one of my students, I believe in you.  There is nothing you can’t do.  Life is about exploring, collaborating, reflecting and taking your time to find solutions. Ask questions. It’s okay if you can’t find the answer,  just try from another angle and if that doesn’t work, try another angle.  If you don’t succeed at something, remember what our math friend Jo Boaler taught us: GROWTH MINDSET.  

Be kind, have manners and keep your head high.

Enjoy a beautiful summer making memories.  Play. Laugh. Explore.
